Tambourine
While extremely familiar to all societies, the Tambourine actually finds in roots in Africa. The Tambourine is widely heard in African religious services. During services, a musician or ordinary church member may play the Tambourine while singing songs of praise. Also, during family prayer sessions, the mother or father of the family may play the tambourine and sing songs of praise following the prayer.
