Among other things, we make

• solid steel custom djembe stands for seated or standing playing,

• square metal tubing triple dundun stands (one player playing 3 dunduns),

• hardwood X-type dundun stands in various sizes,

• hardwood custom peg-tuned drum stands (all sizes... apentema, atsimevu, boba, etc.),

• plywood katá (bamboo log drum) stands,

• other custom stands and recording studio/stage setups, etc.

• we can assemble 1-10 drums from scratch using a shell, metal/flesh hoops (and/or lug-bolt metal hardware), skin(s),
  rope etc. that you select, finishing it to perfection (or leaving some work for you to finish) and tuning it/them up, etc.

We custom-fit our stand(s) to your drum(s). We are not in the cookie-cutter drum OR stand business; we work in the African way to build something you will treasure as a handcrafted item and use with confidence. In fact, D.R. (Dan Rice the "Drum Doctor," Chief of Drum Surgery here @ Motherland Music) personally handcrafts most of our custom stands, so you can be assured of the quality and attention to detail, however we still sell them at popular prices.

We can also install floor tom legs on dunduns and do myriad other customizations to your African or other drums including djembes, dunduns, congas, etc. Plus we're noted for our drum repairs (the Drum Repair Pricing tab is below). You'll never know if we can do it unless you ask, so please don't be shy. Yes, we can trim out a djembe with some flashy tacks, etc.
