Hand-dyed Batik from Kenya

These beautiful images are made by hand using a wax-relief process that has been perfected over centuries. They are made on good, sturdy locally-grown cotton. The plant-based colors are vivid; we think you'll be duly impressed! Okay, sorry; image #3 has an amateur-photographer's shadow at bottom... They are basically one of two sizes (based on content): 16" x 24" ($29.95 ea.) or 20" x 24" ($34.95 ea.). Great gift idea. A real touch of the Motherland by a Kenyan master. These images are cropped; the original batik edges are fairly rough all around.
